OLED

What is Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED)?
It is a next-generation display material which uses self-emission that emits light when a current flows through the organic compound.

CPL

What is Capping Layer (CPL)?
Capping Layer (CPL) is a layer which minimizes the damage to organic materials in a device by an external light source,
satisfies ultraviolet absorption characteristics and suitable refractive index at the same time,
and maximizes internal and external luminous efficiency.

LAPTO developed a material which improved the efficiency of OLED display by improving refractive index in high refractive/low refractive CPL.

CPM

What is Cathode Patterning Materials (CPM)?
This is a material that is patterned by suppressing the Metal (Yb/Ag/Mg) of the Cathode to implement UPC (Under Panel Camera) and improve battery lifetime.

LAPTO will achieve new value in display industry by developing CPM which will lead next generation display technology.

Dopant

What is dopant?
This material receives exciton energy from the host and helps the emitting.

LAPTO has been researching and developing the dopant since the beginning of its foundation, and intends to develop new next-generation dopant through continuous research.

  1. TADF(Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence)

TADF is a method maximizing emitting efficiency by adding special elements such as reversed intersystem crossing, etc. to fluorescence emitting method.

  1. Platinum (Pt) Complex (Phosphorescent dopant)

Platinum (Pt) Complex improves device properties and is a next-generation metal complex that will replace phosphorescent dopant using Ir complex.
